Opportunity & Challenges:

Redemption World Outreach Center, a 14,000+ member non-profit ministry had a vision for a full-profit, dual-purpose venture to fund inner-city development. They wanted to establish a first-class fitness facility to create profits that could be re-invested into inner-city outreach and community development programs. They also wanted to alleviate pressure from church members’ tithes and offerings that were already stretched over 150 different ministry and outreach initiatives.

Solution:

In order to rally members to get involved financially and ministry-wise, the building was dubbed the Imagine Center, and a campaign was created around that. By using the term “I’m In!”, which was taken from letters in the word “Imagine”, individuals were given the opportunity to feel as if they were a committed contributor to the cause and its development. The overall campaign, including videos, a 3-D animation walk-through of the facility, and fundraising and marketing collaterals, helped the client raise over a million dollars in funding and generated an ongoing flow of personal and corporate membership sales support.
